There is a fabulous home store in Encinitas called Gardenology, where I discovered bedding from Matteo a few months ago - I've been in love ever since. With two dogs, it's hard to rationalize spending a lot on bedding, but I dream about the amazing linen and ruffle combination of the Tat collection.
This DVF jacket. I've seen it a few times around, including I believe twice on Whitney Port from The City - I'm not sure what it is that I love so much, but for some reason, I just love it. The price, not so much. I think this one will remain sadly at its home on the internet...
I finally broke down and bought this shower curtain after the holidays from Anthropologie (with a lovely gift card from my mom-in-law!) after coveting it for nearly a year. It might be one of the best purchases I've made in months...
The company that makes the shower curtain is called India Rose, and I recently came across these bags: Y'all know I love a good ruffle, so when I then came across this bedding, which is the same line as the shower curtain, I almost fell out of my chair! I think the hubs might draw the line at ruffled bedding, though...
I haven't spent much time in Banana Republic recently, but had a gift card so I headed in this weekend while at the mall. I used to really love Banana, but over the past year or so, I feel like the same looks are recycled season after season, and not necessarily in a good way.
Occasionally, though, I'll find good basic tanks at Banana. I have a bunch of basic tanks in basic colors, but recently have been wanting to get something that isn't quite as casual as a basic white tank. While I was there I came across the Satin-Trim V-Neck Top, which is a cotton v-neck tank that has about an inch-thick satin trim along the neckline. Plus, it was on sale! I don't have any photos of me in it yet, but I found it to fit TTS and be really flattering. The v-neckline elongates and it had a slim fit. They also had it in black and a medium grey, so I bought both of those as well.
I'm a huge Anthropologie fan, especially their loungewear and stuff for the home. I try not to buy too many bathrobes, nightgowns and hoodies, but sometimes one can't help themselves...
Picturesque Racerback: I actually bought this top the other night. It's super comfortable and I just couldn't resist the bow on the back. That said, it doesn't exactly have the best coverage in the front when laying down - 'things' just don't stay covered very well.
Toe-Shoe Tank and Free Float Sleep Pants: I already own this tank and wear it to lounge as well as a layering piece under sweaters and jackets. The ruffles are subtle but still a fun touch...
Grey Dove Robe: I have a robe from Anthro my mom got me as part of my bridal shower gift about a year ago. I adore this robe, but it's showing some signs of wear. This would be a great replacement/addition to my robe collection...
Louisiana Plum Chemise: It's hard to see in this photo, but at the top of the bodice, there is a little cinching to create almost a sweetheart neckline. Love that...
Well, after quite the hiatus, I've decided to return to blogging. After my last post, I left my job at a PR firm to consult full-time, which I've loved, but it didn't leave a lot of time for certain things, like blogging. I used to post about random things I found and fell in love with, and that's what I'll continue to do again! These loves include fun items I come across, photos and magazine tears that I love, and probably my favorite love, shopping! Enjoy...
